10-pack vs 12-pack vs bulk case: cost per screen

Urinal screens come in 6-packs, 10-packs, 12-packs, 20-packs and 24-packs, and the pack price tells you almost nothing. The number that matters is cost per screen, and the number that matters more is cost per screen per month. Here is how to run both, with worked examples using hypothetical labeled prices so the math stays valid after real prices change.

Step 1: verify what is actually in the listing

Before any math, confirm the exact model and the exact count. Listings routinely mix pack sizes under one product page, and a “$29” listing can be a 10-pack or a 12-pack depending on which variation is selected. The count in the title is not always the count in the cart. Check the variation you are actually buying.

Step 2: cost per screen

Cost per screen = delivered pack price / number of usable screens. Worked examples with made-up, clearly labeled prices:

  • A $26.00 10-pack works out to $2.60 per screen.
  • A $49.00 12-pack works out to about $4.08 per screen.
  • A $40.00 24-pack works out to about $1.67 per screen.

The biggest pack is usually the cheapest per screen, but only if you will use them all within their shelf life and storage space.

Step 3: cost per screen per month

Divide by the replacement interval you actually get, not the label. Say screen A costs $2.60 and lasts your fixtures 30 days: about $2.60 per fixture-month. Screen B costs $8.00 but lasts 60 days: about $4.00 per fixture-month. The “expensive” screen is not necessarily the expensive choice; run your own interval from a change-out log, as described in our replacement guide. For a real-world range, the dated prices in our lineup span roughly $1.66 to $8.25 per screen (seller snapshots, August to October 2026), so the interval assumption moves the answer a lot.

Step 4: the full annual budget

Multiply fixture-months by 12, then add what the math usually forgets: shipping or delivery fees, tax, and a small allowance for screens lost to misfit or damage. An illustrative example with stated inputs: 4 fixtures x 12 months x $2.60 = $124.80 per year at a 30-day interval, before shipping and tax. Change the interval to 3 weeks and the same restroom costs about $162. The interval, not the pack price, is the budget lever.

Live pack sizes and dated price snapshots for ten screens are on our top 10 comparison.
